![]() Geomancer (so you can use oil and for armor skills) (Memory as you see fit and constitution so you can use shields) Strength (main focus so you can deal damage) In short you want something akin to fextralife's juggernaut, here is how I'd put my points: You'll also need high mobility so you can keep putting yourself between your party and the enemies, Some good early mobility skills are Battering Ram, Bull's Horns and Wings (wings are really useful since it let's you avoid surfaces and reach higher elevations), you may also consider putting points in aerotheurge to use Teleport (you can also get the gloves of teleportation early on) and Nether Swaps. To keep your party from being targeted you'd need them to be far away from the enemy and the path to them difficult, to that effect positioning is key and I'd recommend slowing them down with oil, if it takes to many AP to get to the conjurer they I'll choose to hit you instead. It's hard being a tank since there aren't any effective taunts, that being said I think you can achieve a similar effect. If it's your intention to play just this one character, though, that'll involve being CC'd most turns of battle and is likely not a fun way to play the game. It's been said that it's possible to build an effective tank by using the Glass Cannon talent to focus enemy attention on your character, and then build a bunch of constitution to withstand the onslaught. Now, if you know all this and are still adamant that you want to play a tank, well. A warrior who intends to protect their party is much better off building offensively and using a two-hander, protecting party members by disabling and killing enemies.įextralife builds also are much more about style than substance, and should generally be avoided. ![]() With very few mechanics to draw enemy attention, and enemy AI smart enough to prefer attacking a squishy mage rather than a ball of metal, it's very hard to effectively tank in this game. I ask because the archetypal tank is really bad in this game. Vendor Prices, Bartering & Attitude FormulaĪre you all new to the game or experienced players?
